Event Description

Canning and Jamming Workshop
With Teachers Sue and Bree and
The Whole Family!

Learn to preserve fruit in a small, hands-on workshop with Sue Miller, highly experienced mother-teacher-preserver, and teacher Bree. There are slots available for 6 adult students and 5-6 children.

In the care of teacher Bree, children will learn low-heat fruit dehydrating, make art with food, and more. Please provide your child with a brown-bag dinner.

Meanwhile with Sue Miller, adults will safely prep and can baby food, fruit spread for sandwiches, and filling for easy Winter pies! Bring zucchini, cucumber, or other squash, in case there’s time for pickling.
Take home jars of your own work!
