Transition Members
- All Members -- List, search, learn about, welcome, connect. Can be sorted by Recently Added, Alphabetical and Random. Advanced Search gives you the ability to do complex searches -- e.g. permaculturalists in Massachusetts who are also interested in psychotherapy.
- Advanced Member Search -- Search on specific fields contained in user profiles: Gender, Country, City/State, keywords in members' descriptions of themselves, etc. One added benefit: You get a count -- e.g., how many women are involved in the ning Transition movement...
- My Friends -- Your inner circle -- You can have an unlimited number of friends, but it's good to save thie category of member for your inner circle. The group is also a mailing list. Note. You may mail to a maximum of 100 friends.
- U.S.-wide Email List -- Broadcast email list for Transition U.S. Send and receive announcements of events and new developments from members across the U.S. Members may write to all members. You may add or remove yourself at any time. Note. This list is not comprehensive. Do not rely on this list to "blast". It contains only those people who have especially signed up to receive mail from anybody in the U.S.
- Report Spam -- Report inappropriate behavior, vulgar language, spamming, and anything else you believe needs attention. Note. Not yet active.

Best Uses of Members
- Browse all members' photos -- See who's here. Every photo is a menu! Click and wish them well. Interview somebody in-depth and write up their specialties. Introduce them to another person or another group you know who shares their interests.
- See the total number of registered members.
- Find a specific member by entering last name in "Search Members".
- Who else might be interested in Shamballa -- Enter "Shamballa" and search.
- Advanced Search takes you to people who meet multiple search criteria: e.g., from a particular location, plus particular skills, plus having read the book Ishmael.
- Sort the list by recently added, alphabetical, or random.
- Send a "Join us" email to persons you know who share your values.
- Read a person's profile by clicking on that person's photo.
- Click on a photo to see what they're doing, groups they belong to, interactions with other members, and more.
- Click on a photo and leave public or private messages for that person.
