I am in Transition Massachusetts. How do I invite people on the US page from my own state page? Will I have to invite them on to the Mass page? What if (I think) they weren't on there to begin with? Just confused. I don't want to be always switching from the MA page to
the US page and vice versa.
Jen
Well Jen, this is a really a good networking question. Because of this, I find myself half guiltily apologizing to new Tus members in suggesting that they go to their state site to also register there. I hate to say it but I 'm gonna guess we are gonna be told we are kind of stuck with this for now. Kathy Jacobson had a networking query also, though more organizational matrix in nature than data searching.
Jen, so I am not jumping ahead too much here, as networking possibilities go, are you just interested in statesXUS data linkage; or do you also see beyond that to include the possibilities KJ speaks of?
I went searching for the file KJ had posted. No go. She may have removed it. However she does include an interesting graphic that depicts docking possibilities beyond just data.
Again, this is your started discussion, and this may be way sideways from what's on the table. Forgive me please, as a systems engineer, for always going beyond the "problem" at hand, to seeing infinite opportunity depending how we approach visioning and building the solutions. Someone once re quoted TRHPS..... if we pause a moment and 'take a simple jump to the left, and a step to the right, the time warp of our dreams awaits us. We have much to gain evolving from the the inefficiency of a myopic brushfire approach.
Not much of a tekki, myself, and fortunate to have better than dial up, I am able to open multiple tabs in a single window, and it makes going back and forth at least less painful.
