Government links: Transition hubs are increasingly working with local government on their local sustainability plans, and have received funding from them for a range of research projects as well as practical initiatives. - Rob Hopkins

dear Sandi: since you know a lot about local government and outreach, maybe you can tell me "are there any transition groups in western Oregon, Lane County, or Eugene R. Springfield, Oregon? " I'm trying to find one. I'm not in one yet. The closest one in Oregon, that I have found, is in Portland, the city, which is a long long way away from me. So, yes, I'm looking for a local transition group near me. Let me know if you know of one, or even more. Thanks so much, sincerely, Dorothy B., here at transition website. Thanks!
I have also created Building Transition Coalitions for local networking and initiative creation. Please note at bottom of catalog the recommendation to use Wiserearth regional maps, and Idealist.org.
