Land Trusts the Future of Eco-villages and intentional communities?

I am researching Land Trusts, and I am wondering if anyone has information on intentional communities using Land Trusts. The majority of the information on land trust is either for land conservation or for community owned residential housing, to keep housing costs down. I'm not sure how the trustee and the beneficiary would fit into the drafting of a land trust for an intentional community. I wonder, could the community be a NPO being the trustees and the people of the community be the beneficiaries? Any light shed on this question is greatly appreciated!

Hi Simha,

To research land trusts, I suggest you enter "+land +trust" or "+land +trust +npo" (without quotes) into the ALL-Transition search on our homepage. There are about 100 with just "land trust". There are 4 with "land trust npo".

Let us know how it goes.
