I just posted a short instructional video which shows how to build a local food network using Ning. You can watch it here on the Transition website.

Hello, I am a production sound mixer in Phoenix, AZ. Maybe I can help with production. Cheers Diana

Chris - I like your idea of helping each other out with footage. I'm in Carpinteria, CA - just south of Santa Barbara and would be happy to provide HD footage of the beautiful and environmentally sensitive Central Coast of California.

I'm in the middle of making a short for the Ventura Hillsides Conservancy - http://www.venturahillsides.org/

I'll be sure to post a link to the video once completed.

Looking forward to checking out all of the other filmmakers' content below.

All, We might want to think of ourselves as a loose network of producers who can help each other. If you want footage from Michigan let me know. I will try to capture what you need. We have so much to offer here. Closed auto plants. Food lines at community kitchen. Algal blooms in the Great Lakes. Massive hospitals to deal with the growing epidemics that threaten our health. Yup. We are the future. Let me know.

I have just completed a film directed directly at the financial mechanism a community has to accomplish Transition. It is entitled, COMING HOME: E.F.Schumacher and the Reinvention of the Local Economy You can find out more about my work at www.chrisbedfordfilms.com.

We need more films that can actually launch transition movements in communities.

You can find more about COMING HOME at...

I would love to do more permaculture-related videos.
