The 'transitionaotearoa.org.nz' domain name

Hi all,
unfortunately our ning site that was reachable through http://transitionaotearoa.org.nz/ has been discontinued (it is still live, but no idea for how long.) Not many people will sign up to another site and the community will likely be lost. However, I was thinking that maybe we should redirect the domain name to this group on this worldwide Transition network. I have administered and sponsored the domain name in the past, and I'm willing to continue doing that.

What do you think? Any opinions?

It sounds fine to me. The ning NZ site will come down but its name and members remain. Wow.

Actually a further thought. There are two groups on the transitioninaction and the other is more appropriate. It is just called http://transitioninaction.com/group/linktonewzealand. Then they can find the other at will. The manifesto is a private group and I don't fancy having to approve over 1000 members!
