Les,
I'll follow up on this from the North Metro perspective that we have with Cherokee Transitions Green. Others may want to share their perspective also.

Yo Georgians,

Here's the name of a real serious media person writing for Georgia Trend:
Jerry Grillo (fourcrickets@windstream.net)

"I'm trying to find a human being who can talk about the transition movement as I'm writing an article for Georgia Trend magazine about the topic. Have great contacts in Sautee Nacoochee, but wanted to meet people from other communities. Contact me soon. Deadline is next week."

Can one of you email Jerry and provide some perspective on what's happening in Georgia....

Please see the Group menus we're installing today for Georgia. These links represent advanced ways of selecting, sorting, reviewing activities and associations scoped to Georgia. The key to remember is to TAG all events, photos, videos, discussions, etc. with the TAG "US-Georgia" as you create them. Go back and tag your earlier creations with "US-Georgia" and they will automatically appear on the Georgia-specific menus. If you hear a big slurping whoosh when you open this page, it's the Georgia Portfolio gathering bits & pieces from all over the site as well as external sites and summarizing them for this group's members. Who wants to help manage this? It's really fun!

G'day Georgia Transitioners,

Need a favor! Would you be willing to help move the remaining membership from our original Transition Georgia State website to this new group? There are 43 members who need a little encouragement to move to the new site from the old site, which will be deleted any day now.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOU
* Log into the old site at http://transitiongeorgia.ning.com
* Go to http://transitiongeorgia.ning.com/profiles/members/
* Change the SORT BY to Alphabetical.
* Use the first letter of your first name to select everybody whose first letter matches yours. Check through our roster on this page and select another letter if somebody else's name starts with your letter. Repeat the process with the letter before and the letter after yours. Don't worry about some people getting a couple of notices.
* Click on their photo one by one and use the COMMENT WALL to send your message.
* In addition, for extra credit, focus on 3 or 4 of your closest acquaintenances and send them a personal note.

Thanks!

Les
