New content on TRANSITION MASSACHUSETTS.  We've added activities about Transition in Massachusetts to give GTIA members a good picture what's happening in Mass.  In addition, we've activated DAILY SCAN FOR MASSACHUSETTS TRANSITION ACTIVITIES ON THE WEB.  Currently there are three.  This list is updated daily and will grow over time when there are mentions in the press, in blogs, etc. etc.

Please see the Group menus we're installing today for Massachusetts. These links represent advanced ways of selecting, sorting, reviewing activities and associations scoped to Massachusetts. The key to remember is to TAG all events, photos, videos, discussions, etc. with the TAG "US-Massachusetts" as you create them. If you hear a big slurping whoosh when you open this page, it's the Massachusetts Portfolio gathering bits & pieces from all over the site as well as external sites and summarizing them for your members. Who wants to help manage this? It's really fun!

Re Jim's message of 6/5: The other site will remain, for at least a year.

Conrad and David are now Admins. David, you are welcome to start creating the "Massachusetts resume/portfolio" as you did with the other groups. Anybody else want to be an admin on this wiki-style page...?

If we were an actual organization, instead of a loose conglomeration of activists, our steering committee would pick a date: before that date all posts go to old site. After that date all posts go to new site. And some brave small set of volunteers would carry over the key points of any active threads from one place to another, and someone would archive the old conversations on some free site.

If someone would like to act like a leader on this, I would be willing to follow their lead.

David, I agree that this is confusing for now. The good news is that the link at the top leads to the Transition Massachusetts site, so maybe that will help someone find us.
