Hi Lane & friends!  Sorry I missed this years urban permi convergence!

I was deep in the forests of the Olympic Penninsula camping & doing ecological studies!

I'm doing most of my online networking at our regional site

"Earth Gardens: Edible-Medicinial-Wild Habitats (...Permaculture):

A group of us are  also planning more rolving garden work-parties this year around Bellingham.

Hi all,
I'm new at social sites as well, and thought I'd just dive in. I'm over in Alger with a five year old forest garden and simultaneously working of Transition Skagit and Transition Bow, and have started the Bow Little Market. I'm going to promote the event at the market, but would love to spread the word on other permaculture events in the area as well.

I've offered to help with registration for the Permaculture Convergence. Last year I provided a little drum workshop session. I would love to hear more about the Transition planning to go along with the Convergence this year which is right in my back yard since I live in West Seattle.

I'm thrilled to see the energy around this event and look forward to contributing in whatever way I can. Ashland just held an Open Space to plan our Great Unleashing and the result was the birthing of a new unleashing model focused on assisting the many organizations already active in our area. I love the way we can let go and count on transition initiatives to go where they want to go to capture the creative pragmatism of the moment.

Richard: Thanks for joining.I haven't had time to
invited folks from Transition Cascadia. Social
networks are a little difficult for some to navigate.
I hope this is just the beginning. I will also put up a Facebook
site, which is a more universal social network. Any
ideas out there? I will also see if I can outline where
the Transition Convergence planning is. I think Leo
might be able to help in that regard. I will also invite
the people that were on the first list and/or meeting.
Hi Randy, hi Collin. Perhaps we will be seeing each
other for real in September. Please everyone, invite
anyone you may think will be interested in the event.

Thank all of you for joining this effort. I have some news.
Good news, but I better not get into trouble for letting
the cat out of the bag. I better get permission from the
Permies first before I tell all.

After Whatcom's great Great Unleashing, I look forward to learning how it's done in the big city. I'll take the train down again, even though they've raised the fares astronomically since the winter.

Thanks, Lane.
My answer to the questions posed in the video link:
No. Not with the current imperial system in place.
So there's a discussion topic. :)

Just to add a little excitment. My wife and I attended
a Pachamama Alliance workshop in Seattle about a
month ago. This video was made for them by a well-
known advertising firm pro bono:
