SEEDS OF HOPE AND SUSTENANCE
65 percent of the world's hungry live in only seven countries: and Pakistan is one of them
An estimated 45 percent of Pakistanis live below the poverty line and almost half are illiterate. Poorer households typically spend over 60 percent of their income on food.
Price of all food commodities has triple during past few years. Four to five people in the Pakistan commit suicide every day and a large number of these cases can be attributed to the victims’ inability to make ends meet. Unable to feed the family’s, many poor people are turning to petty crimes and begging..
Prices of vegetables and fruits have witnessed a sharp increase making these items inaccessible for common man.
As a result Residents of low-income families are not only going hungry to bed but usually have limited access to fresh, nutritious foods.
The most effective way to give releif to these poor people to help them in such a way that their kitchen keeps running .
The best way is to give them free seeds and some basic skills to grow vegetables to start kitchen gardening.
With the help of free seed and basic training , we can reduce the problem without government programs, or red tape but only through gesture of good will,”person to person”.
In return for their seeds to crush hungers, their name or organization name will be promoted through thank you banner.
All those who get seeds will know who is giving them support .On the other hand the free seeds donor will be able to see for them selves where their contribution is going and to whom.
Taking this project further we can also form the seed bank to give away free seeds to those who have already started kitchen gardening.
So here's your chance to help these low income poor people to eat through free seed donations. If you have extra seeds you can share, and help someone get started with their garden.
The concepts of this free seeds for hunger are to provide an infrastructure for hungry homes and empower them to run their kitchen.
Pakistan is basic an agriculture country and 70% of its population lives in rural areas. But dwindling water supply due to global warming, changing weather pattern, over population, unemployment is increasing miseries of the poor every day.
In these tough times, a return to those roots will help them strengthen, feeding Their families with healthful, delicious fruits and vegetables grown in their yards.
This can only be done through your free seeds.
This is an opportunity for you to get involved in a project that is making a real, positive difference in the world.
