Vedi: Rob Hopkins: The Transition Handbook.

We know that the oil era is about to end. Once you reach the point of maximum return on deposits ("peak-oil") oil extraction will become increasingly difficult, dangerous and expensive. We'd better not wait until the crisis seize us by surprise. The Transition Towns Movement started in England and is expanding rapidly anywhere a group of people decides, with methods of direct democracy, to organize life, mobility, production and distribution of goods and services in a sustainable manner, local solidarity to live better and in harmony with the environment. See: Rob Hopkins The Transition Handbook.

Yes, Giuliana, all data you consider "really worthwhile" (legacy data) on your original site will need to be moved to this site -- your friends list is particularly worthwhile. A personal note to each friend would be in order.Send them this link -- http://transitionus.ning.com/group/transitionitalia -- and invite them to join our 2000+ community. Let me know if you have further questions. ciao!

Thanks Les Squires. Do I have to transform all members in my friends, in order to be able to invite them hier ? Do they have to join transitionus.ning.com or can they join this group directly ? I come back to you in a week. Bye

Welcome Giuliana and Transition Italy. I've pasted the text from your original site into the TEXT BOX, in both Italian and English. Feel free to modify it as you wish. So far the two of us are members. It would be good to invite the 23 members on the original site to join us here.... Let me know if you have questions.
