Just wondering-anyone here into multimedia.  I will be starting work at my local public television.  Will be fun to work for the community.  They have filming classes there.  Thanks to WikiLeaks I am interested in communication through the internet.  Thanks to the film " Inception"

 

I think I finally began to be interested in architecture as a source for all design.  Thanks to a teacher of mine I learned to combine various media (installations).  I would like to be a journalist and would like to travel making a documentary ( I have a thought these days the only ethical travel overseas is through either film or wwoofing).

 

Just my thoughts.

Dandarius Cavallaro, we consider Transition Voice to have a National/International footprint but, as it originates in the US, will probably have a more distinctly American positioning. We have a World section. It will cover stories from around the world, around the US, but will not be a regional publication (we're located in Virginia).

The website is being built right now, and then its about populating it with the slugged content for the first issue.

When you say Transition Media Portfolio do you mean the development of articles, broadcasts, video, blog posts, etc all produced in this group? And Lindsay, the magazine Transition Voice - is that going to global, national, state, or regional? Or all of the above? We are just trying to orientate to see if we can contribute in any way. Our company - SeThInk Media - is a digital publisher.

Thirty of us have signed up in this group to build the Transition Media Portfolio -- what's happening, where, experiences, results, offers, needs, etc. etc. -- everything that's Media in the spirit of Transition. Next question, who of you in the group so far would like to be promoted to an Admin -- with the ability to EDIT and assist in developing the content in the TRANSITION MEDIA PORTFOLIO? It's fun and you'll learn a lot about working together! Just say YES here on the Comment Wall to jump into the role of Admin.

In late September of this year, a team of us are launching an online magazine called Transition Voice. It will cover peak oil, climate issues, and the transition movement. We're looking for content contributors in writing, art, video, podcasting, web development, etc. If you're interested, friend me on here and FB (if you like) and let's talk about the possibilities.
