- I love the idea of uniting the density of urban living with sustainability through creating better transportation systems, landscaping with edible and native species, re-designing our energy and water use... Transition movement is all about making tangible lifestyle changes to create a better world!
- How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
- Baltimore City is well known for its urban decay (The Wire, Homicide, etc.) I hope to show another side of Baltimore, and to unite with other post-industrial cities to share ideas about how we can restructure our communities.

- HOMEGROWN.ORG is one of my favorite forums. I am also very inspired by the Dervaes family. And of course Novella Carpenter is a heroine of mine. I also really like Homegrown Evolution's book and blog. In 2009 I traveled out to the Maker's Faire to volunteer with Terry from www.permie.net.
