- How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
- I have been active with the Transition Whatcom group, and attended trainings locally and regionally.
- In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
- I have been aware of Peak Oil for 5 years through my participation with the Quaker Institute of the Future. It closely parallels the work of Quaker Earthcare Witness and resonates with me. We need broad, multi-faceted approaches to the sharing of information and the points of contact for the awareness and change work we are doing.
- How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
- I am proposing to establish a regional umbrella 501 c 3 organization called Transition Northwest to create a donation vehicle for local Transition groups in the NW to accept deductible charitable donations, and provide umbrella event insurance coverage, to start. it could grow to become a regional administrative resource.
