"I am not actually in Sebastopol but am in Dillon Beach. I don't really know how I fit in all this transition. I am pretty much doing my own thing to get self sufficient but it is very hard to connect out here...any suggestions on what I can do?"

How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
I am a mother of two living with my family on the pacific coast of sonoma/marin county. We are just learning about all of this and are trying to find a way to be more involved. I am only involved at this point in personal investigation of homesteading, farming, self-sufficiency, green jobs, etc.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I want my family to be as self sufficient as possible. I think things are at a major crossroads and we need to scale down and relearn the traditional ways of doing things. Buy less, throw away less, reuse more...
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
Not sure yet.
