"I would love to be at your next meeting. However, I live in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas, USA. Every time I have been to AU I have stayed a while in Eltham, VIC, not so far from you. I'll be coming back maybe in a few…"
How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
Having read a great deal about Transition Towns and trying to get to one in Scotland, knowing that LOCAL is the new survival tactic and being part of a group trying to direct a city of 76,000 to that way of thinking, I am interested in what you all have to say on the subject.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
If your neighbors are not doing well, you're not doing well. Keeping your community healthy in good times and bad is a worthwhile goal.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
I verbally encourage all the people I know to keep their money local; plant gardens; exchange ideas; share equipment, meals, conversation, skills, and to spread the word to others.

Here's the page to create the link -- http://transitioninaction.com/groups/group/new I'll be glad to help launch and build your link.
