How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
Community Relience with Marian and Homer Townships and the Area Community just got a websit hosted at no charge thanks to our iovolvement and the group has several 4-h children starting next week to grow their opwn foood and then in the fall can it.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
Self-relience has been part of our family , as my grandfather traveled in horse and buggy, farmed with horses drilled his groud for a water supply, then oil and gas to his farm from his hands work.
Ralied on the starlingfarm for his familyu..self-relience
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
I am working through the local Amish community and connecting the "old fashiond" notion that children will not HAVE to rely on food stamps to sustain their life..... that is where the children groups come in and the teaching self-relience begins
