"Brian, Glad to have you in the Verde Resilient Communities group. We're going to be cranking up the action as the weather cools down. Hope to engage you in something you feel is worthwhile. It will be fun to talk through Sustainable Phoenix."

How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
Personally, I attempt to live as sustainably, as lightly, as possible on the earth. I am constantly looking for ways to live even more sustainably and sharing the things I do with others.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
Phoenix, as of now, is not a very sustainable city, nor does there seem to be much effort here, other than a small group of isolated individuals. I am interested in seeing what other cities are doing and, while I am living here, attempting to initiate some changes here. I am also interested in possibly living someday in a Transition Town.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
I am spreading the word here, among my friends and other I meet, about the Transition movement. I am attempting to demonstrate that we can live sustainably in a city. As a matter of fact, although I prefer a small town or country living, I believe, given the right city, it is possibl to live MORE sustainanably in a city.

One more thing, on the local scene, does Phoenix have a Transition-supporting website, or blog, or listserv, or Facebook, or Meetup? If so, it would be enlightening to all our members if you would consider adding a link to Phoenix in our registry of organizations, products, services, Twitterers, Facebooks, Meetups, etc. supporting Transition and Sustainability -- http://transitionus.ning.com/groups/group/new.
