How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
Permaculture and biodynamic gardening are the skills I mentor. Planting trees with others in city parks and along roadways, with help from City staff, continues to be an enlivening project. There is a TT group in nearby Ashland. My passion is bringing transition wisdom into mainstream institutions, such as the fitness center and community hospital where I work.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
It's all about finding satisfaction in embracing a low-carbon lifestyle, and modeling that for others.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
I'm working on a book titled The Self-Sustaining Garden, as well as a series of articles on the theme of Deep Local.

Go ahead and upload the business card to PHOTOS and I'll see what I can do to extract the photo. Should be pretty straightforward.
Regarding your Garden Almanac, I suggest that you create a group and register the Almanac on this page -- http://transitioninaction.com/groups/group/new -- create a presence and then we can promote the book in this group when it is ready. What do you say?
Welcome Cynthia. Great to see your interest in Transition! Welcome to TRANSITION IN ACTION.

On the local scene, it would be spot on for all our members if you would consider including a link to your book The Self-Sustaining Gardenyy in our registry of organizations, localities, companies, products, services, publications, Twitterers, Facebooks, Meetups, etc. supporting Transition and Sustainability. Here's the page to create the link -- http://transitioninaction.com/groups/group/new. I'll be glad to help launch and build your link.
