Hi Les. I also sent you an email (to email@example.com), seemingly the exact same minute you posted this. Did you also get that email? I propose we Skype at 6, hopefully with Tony at my house, so we can use video. I will also try to be on the 8pm call, but will need to talk with my wife about logistics as I believe she has a meeting at 7 and we have two young girls that will need support around bedtime. I'll know more by 6pm at any rate.
I think I gave you these before, but just so you have it, here's my info:
Daniel, we had talked about a session with you and Tony for 6:00 your time. At 8:00p.m. your time, I have a session for developers. Given the questions you're asking, it would be great if you would join the developer group. You'll become an admin on the MA site. I notice you already have skype. Does Tony have skype. If he doesn't, I can include him in the conference call on a landline.
Hi Les. Great! Thanks. 6pm EST would be perfect. Do you an email and/or a phone number you can share? I can set up the conference call. And you asked for some questions I had so far, so here's a few...
How do we only show comments, announcements, events from our group?
How do we easily and clearly navigate between the three levels of (1) our group; (2) TransitionMassachusetts; and (3) TransitionUS?
Can we somehow sync the message board with a listsev for folks who don't want to have to check the website to see dialogues?
Do you have suggestions for how to get people really involved with the site?
Is there a way to post a re-occurring event?
Also, it took me a while to refind this comment wall. Is there also a wall on my personal page?
Welcome Daniel! Great to see you here on Transition U.S. "... Trying to help start one in my community - Shutesbury, MA.." -- Great. Let us know how we might assist.
If you haven't already done so, come and see the new US Transition Page we rolled out this past weekend. As this page develops, it will become a map of Transition resources across all ning sites. All 50 states are now active. Many state sites are brand new! Go to TRANSITION MASSACHUSETTS and sign in. Invite others. Enter some of your local events. Start Discussions. Make Transition! Have fun!
