MIMIC THIS! When you get invited to events 3000 miles away (or 20 of them just across town), use COPY & PASTE with the really interesting events to seed your own community's plans for similar events. Why start from scratch.... Beg, borrow and mimic! More....
Welcome recently added members. Check periodically to see if friends you have invited have joined.
How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
Involved with Transition Snoqualmie Valley
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I have been a long time permaculture gardener/advocate. I like the non-hierarchical and spontaneous ethic of the Transition movement. I believe that we definitely need to change our culture to one that is more egalitarian and ecological.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
My skills: art and graphic art, gardening, teaching, basic homesteading skills, Aikido and some non-violent communication skills. But I have LOTS to learn.
My Group has a wonderful welcoming, community spirit, good at risk taking and enjoying what we are doing!
Suggestions you have for improving our Registration questions. Getting to know you better.
Maybe a question asking for a short description of bio-region.

One more thing, on the local scene, does Fall City have a Transition-supporting website, or blog, or listserv, or Facebook, or Meetup? If so, it would be spot on for all our members if you would consider adding a link to Fall City in our registry of organizations, products, services, Twitterers, Facebooks, Meetups, etc. supporting Transition and Sustainability. Here's the page to create the link -- http://transitionus.ning.com/groups/group/new.
