MIMIC THIS! When you get invited to events 3000 miles away (or 20 of them just across town), use COPY & PASTE with the really interesting events to seed your own community's plans for similar events. Why start from scratch.... Beg, borrow and mimic! More....
Welcome recently added members. Check periodically to see if friends you have invited have joined.
How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
We belong to our local food coop and participate informally with a local food group and the University of Wyoming college of Agriculture. We are avid home gardeners and last year added some backyard chickens to our urban foodstead.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
We have always been interested in the environmental movement, having grown up in the 60's, and now that we are coming up on retirement we are looking forward to how we will deal with the changes the planet is experiencing.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
We have gardened for many years in Wyoming and see a need to help others learn how to be more self sufficient in our not so ideal climate. We will continue to participate in the local food movement with the Big Hollow Food Coop as a focal point.

Welcome David and Adrie! Great to see you here on the social networks for Transition U.S. and Transition Wyoming. You highlighted in your profile "... We have always been interested in the environmental movement, having grown up in the 60's, and now that we are coming up on retirement we are looking forward to how we will deal with the changes the planet is experiencing...." -- You know, we haven't had any articles on Transition and retirement. Would the two of you be interested in sharing some of your experiences unique to retirement... That would be super. Some Links Members Have Found Helpful
