Profile Information

How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
Just becoming aware of it through a friend
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
Community stability and individual development is dependent on cooperation and a 'mutual handshake' relationship with the environment. It just makes sense.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
I am well versed in online applications, mobile technology, social media, blogging, advanced web copy formatting and online marketing techniques.
Online marketing has been a gold mine for community projects and orgs. It's allowed it to move from special interests supported by the affluent, to something that anyone can participate in. Amazing times!

Suggestions you have for improving our Registration questions. Getting to know you better.
Looks good so far, but you should lead with the questions about what the person in question can offer to the group. It's a minor point, but it can get people engaged enough to complete the questionnaire.

Hello Emily!

It's nice to make your acquaintence and thanks for your interest and efforts!

So glad to see you joined the Transition Ohio group!

Please feel free to share your input about the group page, any links you would like to see added to the regional framework, etc.

I'm located in Southeast Ohio; give me a holler if you're ever heading this way and want to meet up and take a trip into the deep woods.

Best wishes!

Welcome Emily,

Great to see your interest in Transition! Welcome to TRANSITION IN ACTION.

http://transitioninaction.com/group/transitionohiousa  is your link to our new Transition page for your neighbors in Ohio. Feel free to join in the activities. Use the COMMENT WALL to say Hello to the others. Reinforce the good things they are doing. Mention something you're interested in. Ask a question. Start a discussion. Let me know if you would like to be an Admin on this page to help build and maintain your group's Resume. Have fun!

On the local scene, does Columbus (or some broader geographic area) have a Transition-supporting website, or blog, or listserv, or Facebook, or Meetup? If so, it would be spot on for all our members if you would consider including a link to Columbus in our registry of organizations, localities, companies, products, services, Twitterers, Facebooks, Meetups, etc. supporting Transition and Sustainability. Here's the page to create the link -- http://transitioninaction.com/groups/group/new. I'll be glad to help launch and build your link. Do you want to do it?

You can see all our 330+ groups at http://transitioninaction.com/groups. Use Search on this page to find a specific group. Join as many as you like. Let me know when you have questions about details.

Great photo.

Super 2011!
