I do research on socio-ecological issues, I participate in civil society in ward committees, I join in community initiatives such as urban gardening and restoration activities..
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
Your site described the same issues and activities that I am involved in and seems to embrace the same point of view as I have.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
I can provide information on activities and issues here in South Africa. I am a published author and write academic papers. I also edit a quarterly newsletter and admin two Facebook pages. I have a holistic view of socio-ecological issues and the academic training to ground my views.
