How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?: Just starting to learn about it and let others in my community know about it and the possibilities.

In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?: I want to make Champaign County, IL more resilient and sustainable by coordinating many of the environmental groups and resources we have here.

How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?: Doing the groundwork to get one going here.

We invite you to go to Starting Local Groups on Transition US and then to Illinois. Tell us a little more about what's happening in Urbana. This makes your group visible to other groups in Ill and elsewhere around the world. We are currently vetting the most active states to set up Transition networks with them. Your participation on these pages will help make the decisions.
