Great to see your interest in Transition! Welcome to GLOBAL TRANSITION IN ACTION. You mention in your registration "...I'm a child of the 60's and a charter subscriber of the Whole Earth News among other things....How to fix things, how to make useful things, how to craft objects, how to use information and communication technologies for good... Great places to concentrate. You'll find many others here who think as you do. We look forward to sharing your experiences.

On the local scene, does Falls Church have a Transition-supporting website, or blog, or listserv, or Facebook, or Meetup? If so, it would be spot on for all our members if you would consider including a link to Falls Churc in our registry of organizations, localities, companies, products, services, Twitterers, Facebooks, Meetups, etc. supporting Transition and Sustainability. Here's the page to create thelink. That way we can introduce our two groups to each other. I'll be glad to help launch and build your link.
One more thing. It would be super to see your photo -- Click on Choose File and then follow instructions. Let me know if you need assistance. I'll be delighted to do some photoshopping if needed.
