Hi, Jason!
I am very much interested in your rain water drums. I have a large backyard where bamboo has grown for years, but I would like to see if I can plant a garden again. Somebody suggested a greenhouse instead, because of the bamboo roots. Anyway, I would like to buy a drum whenever is available. Charles and I are trying to get more people interested in Transition - we have a few! Sometime in the fall I will be teaching a tofu workshop at our food co-op. You are invited to come (I don't think we live very far). It would be nice, for the people interested in the movement, to talk to somebody who has been involved for a longer period of time. Charles did publish an article that mentioned Transition, and many people read it.
Look forward to being in touch with you.

Hi Jason. I suggest you go to http://transitionus.ning.com/forum/topics/ask-the-members and enter your request of our entire community. Just follow the directions, but contact me if you have questions about how this works.

I'm a big believer in social networks -- where everybody is "in charge" of everything. I see you're interested in starting a transition initiative in Norwalk, CT. Great. Have you added Norwalk to the TRANSITION CONNECTICUT site yet.... I'll be glad to help.

Welcome Jason! Great to see you here on Transition U.S. "... Attended Transition Initiative Training in Cambridge, MA. Work for an environmental non-profit interested in localization and peak oil initiatives. Would like to start a transition initiative in Norwalk, CT.." -- Who better than you to do it! Let me know what you need to get going in CT. Looks like you're already gathering your inner circle -- Judeth, nika, and robert.

Come and see the new US Transition Map we rolled out this past weekend. As this page develops, it will become a map of U.S. and World Transition resources. All 50 states are now active. Many state sites are brand new! Go to TRANSITION CONNECTICUT and sign in. Invite others. Enter some of your local events. Start Discussions. Make Transition! Have fun!
