"Thanks Jean of Arc and welcome us social forum. It's great to see both here. Now that you've created us social forum your members can INVITE likeminded people from us social forumand from Transition US to commingle, add further information…"
How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
Brand new to MI
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
It matches the way that I have been striving to live. Its the best thing since the original people showed the invading Europeans how to live. We as a people now suffer from the resulting travesty and so we need to do everything that we can to get that knowledge and love now from ourselves and the descendants of the Native Americans.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
I began a grass roots org that provides community service with a used bus using waste vegetable oil mobile outreach and could use some help. We glean what would be wasted to feed people and power our organization. Much more can be said about this, please contact me.
HI Jean,
I tried to send the following note x2 via private email but for some reason it wouldn't let me...something about 15 seconds exceeded. odd. Anyways, here it is..
Hi Jean!
So nice to hear from you and to hear how things are going in your area. Thanks for writing and for all you're doing!
Are you also involved with the Transition Michigan site? Ahh, maybe that is the local network you are referring to in your note.I'm actually a member of TM, since it is a neighboring state of Ohio. I check in once in awhile...I'll look for you the next time I head over there.
I focus most of my limited transition internet time on Transition Ohio, where I invite fellow buckeyes, but try to stay linked as a liaison with transition US and our neighboring states..relaying information back to Ohio.
Detroit sounds like it is a great place to help rebirth into something healthy. How fun and what great things you're doing! Wow!
I am slammed with projects right now, some with burdensome deadlines, but hope to write more later.
Love,
kj
