Profile Information

How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
I'm putting my own house in order. Also networking with permaculture advocates in the southwest
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I have long believed that the party was going to be over in my lifetime. I began practicing as many elements of self sufficiency and low impact lifestyle choices already in 1973. Yep, I'm one 'o them ageing hippy girls!
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
I can demonstarate to interested parties the things I have already put in place to reduce resource usage. I am a student of consensus power sharing and adept at salvage and recycling. I use a fuel efficient motorscooter for the bulk of my personal transportation. I see motorscooters as an ideal transition vehicle for those taking the first steps toward reduction of their personal carbon footprint.
