- How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
- I serve as Co-chair for Sustainable Saratoga. I also am pro tem Co-Chair of the Local Economy and Composting, Waste & Recycling Committees of Sustainable Saratoga. I have read many publications and listened to many presentation on topics of relocalization, peak oil, ecological economics.
- In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
- I live my life as if my actions matter, and to that end, I try to serve as an example of an engaged citizen rather than an individual consumer looking to maximize my own bottom line. I believe that interdependence at the local level is essential to our transition to a post-petroleum world.
- How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
- I can help the vitality of the Transition movement by investigating the possibility of aligning Sustainable Saratoga with the Transition movement.
