BEING READY FOR AN UNCERTAIN FUTURE

Have the arguments for sustainability gotten stale – or omitted the most important points? Make no mistake: the need for sustainable solutions has never been greater. After seemingly endless attention, is it possible that everyone who’s going to be moved to action by arguments about recycling, pollution, water quality, deforestation, soil and fishery decline, and climate change has already activated? If that sustainability message is no longer useful, then new information that people haven’t…See More

Welcome John,

Great to see your interest in Transition! Welcome to GLOBAL TRANSITION IN ACTION. You mention in your registration "...I will work only with those who wish to move forward. I will not try to change anyone's mind. I have 40 + years experience with what it takes to change deep habit patterns in thinking and in doing...."  Your birthday? Required by California state law to guard against child molestation.

Please join and click anytime on Transition group members in California to join your neighbors in discussions and events.  Click on any person's photo to say hello and find out more about their Transition interests. Reinforce the good things they are doing. Mention something that particularly interests you. Start a discussion. Let me know if you would like to be an Admin on this page to help build and maintain your group's portfolio. Have fun!

On the local scene, does Murphys have a Transition-supporting website, or blog? If so, it would be spot on for all our members if you would consider including a link to Murphys in our registry of organizations, localities, Twitterers, Facebooks, Meetups, etc. supporting Transition and Sustainability. Here's the page to create the link. That way we can introduce our two groups to each other. Are you interested? I'll be glad to help launch and build your link.

One more thing. It would be super to see your photo -- Click on Choose File and then follow instructions. Let me know if you need assistance. I'll be delighted to do some photoshopping if needed.

Again, welcome!

Les
