"Hi Elise, it's sad, but I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one that had troubles. This year was my first - I've got about a 1/2 dozen potted plants outside my office at work. I got maybe 2 zucchinis, and a few small tomatoes and 0…"
"I've only done a couple, but I like it. Unfortunately, I don't have a good place to store the harder aged cheeses. If you have done much of this, I'd like to discuss it with you! A class would be great!"
"I'd like to learn more about this. I have a book and have done some jelly, but I'm still intimidated. . . The CSA we belong to supplies lots of fresh veggies each week - better to preserve than to let it go bad!"

How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
I'm not - I do not believe there is a local chapter in northern VA.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I'm worried about peak oil and climate change - we need to ease into a lower energy economy. I don't want to see this happen abruptly!
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
I've personally done a few things and would be glad to help others to learn what I know. I've converted my diesel car to run on used veggie oil. I'm growing a small garden. I'm learning to make wine in my kitchen.
