How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
As a long time community organizer and permaculture designer/practitioner i work in my local area to create a community which honors the planet and all our relations.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I see the Transition Movement as one of many puzzle pieces being used to create a viable, healthy world. Among my interests are working on local food and energy issues and i am a life-long advocate for light-on-the-earth living
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
I teach various natural building methods from a Permaculture perspective; volunteer within my community to develop healthy food, clean energy and green political realities and have years of experience in event organizing.

Welcome Katey and soon to be Transition Tennessee! Great to see you here. "... I am a permaculture designer/practitioner working on local food and energy issues and a life-long advocate for light-on-the-earth living..." -- You're just the kind of person we're seeking to join their skills with other groups around the country.
We invite you to go to Starting Local Groups on Transition US and then to Tennessee. Tell us a little more about what's happening in your area. This makes your group visible to other groups in Tennessee and elsewhere around the country. We are currently vetting the most active states to set up Transition networks with them. Your participation on these pages will help make the decisions.
