- How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
- I'm part of the initiating group here in Reno, NV.
- In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
- Even though the transition is driven by peak oil and climate change, I have had a vision of a more Earth friendly and user friendly world for most of my life.
I am also a permaculture designer and metaphysician.
The idea of doing a collaborative evolving of our relationship to ourselves, each other and the planet is very exciting to me. Plus, I love who I find myself with when people mention transition or permaculture or evolution :)
- How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
- We are a very eclectic group that that varied interests, skills, awarenesses AND we are from a very unique area--
Reno, NV: high desert, 'big little city,' gaming/mining/rediscribution/small business/ranching economy. Our group loves to "do" but also is also aware that peak oil and climate change is certainly a catalyst but that mind boggling evolution has been called for at this time for a vewry, very long time. This idea may drive some or all of us into ways of approaching these times in somewhat unique ways.
