- How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
- I am just wanted to register in order to get involved, and have discussion of topics of my interests that currently happen around the globe. As, I am very much interested in Politics.
- In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
- I am interested to join and expand my global contacts and networks that will definitly contribute my cultural growth relations and mutual communication with different people in US Transition movement. Egypt (Egyptian) is also to be a value to this community, I geuss.

In fact I tend to do most of my activism on line and in networking people. Most recently I was in the UK and I have planned trips to Germany and Holland in the next few months.

I did not hear that there is a transition initiative in Egypt yet, but something which might be very open to that spirit is the SEKEM initiative and the team around its founder Ibrahim Abouleish - inspired from them Egypt has changed almost all of its cotton production into organic, which is really a success !

- Hello Lillian. Nice to meet you. I was in Hurgada & Cairo in 2003 for vacation with a group from Ukraine, Russia and Germany. I was the only American. I teach for a satellite campus of Indiana University in the US. And you teach for American University in Cairo? I once applied there but never was interviewed.
