Profile Information

How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
I am working with a group to create a worker coop incubator with our first coop likely to be a business that focuses on food security issues.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I'm interested because I believe the kinds of changes the Transition movement is involved in are necessary for our survival and well-being. I think its time to start creating our own system instead of fighting the current system. Self-sustaining local communities are at the root of solving many of the problems we now face.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
I can teach about worker coops and about working together to make common goals a reality. I can also teach the formal consensus method of group decision making
