Good to hear from you. There was actually just a permaculture training in Lapeer county recently. I didn't attend, but felt encouraged to hear of folks in mid-michigan getting the "good word", lol."

- How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
- I have attended a peak oil conference in Grand Rapids MI. I have taken a weekend permaculture class with Dan Hemenway sponsored by Bob Waldrop in OK City. I garden, study herbalism, and support local and organic food producers.
- In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
- I feel a need to give my daughter an alternative context for her future that is based on the realities of peak oil and climate change rather than on the failed/failing economic formulas that most still cling to. This is my main motivation for living differently and trying to understand the challenges we face going forward.
