Hi Maria,
Yes, I know Karl to say hello to. He is one of our 'local heroes' in the ag sector, and I hear his website is a goldmine,(compost heap?), of information on composting. as well.
Hi Maria!
Thanks for contacting me. Sounds like a great start for Sullivan County! Let's stay in touch. Fyi, there's beginning to be a buzz for a regional get together, maybe next summer, and perhaps some conference calls to 'meet' each other before that.
Transition Town Montpelier is hosting a T4T this weekend, and I'm looking forward to meeting the folks coming there! They are mostly from VT, a good sprinkling of Canadians, and a few from other states.
Welcome Maria! Great to see you here on Transition U.S. and Transition New York. "... Recognizing environmental and economic problems in a small upstate New York community..." -- Great place to start. Speaking as the original designer of this social network, I'd be interested in making these tools available in Livingston Manor.
If you haven't already done so, come and see the new US Transition Page . As this page develops, it will become a map of Transition resources across all ning sites. All 50 states are now active. Many state sites are brand new! Go to TRANSITION NEW YORK and sign in. Invite others. Enter some of your local events. Start Discussions. Make Transition! Have fun!
