How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?

Just about to start getting involved. After reading and following the discussions online I think it's about time to pull something off locally.

In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?

I'm very handy and was always interested in gardening, ecology and old (the new NEW??) crafts etc. As any gardener knows: You only get what you put in. From this, it is not far to realize that we have to change some fundamental things in our society :-)

How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?

I'm interested in pulling off a few things to help make the community I live in more resilient. Therefore, I plan to network with my neighbors and see if they are interested in joining the transition movement. And of course it's always good to share ideas, knowledge and abilities....
