Build Us Services Trains (before) Energy Depletion

"There's 10-20 years for thorium.  For service trains it'll take 50 years.  That leaves 30 years grace when we still have oil to get it right."

Hi Maureen,

welcome to the Global Transition Network. I've lived in Canada at some stage, but I never made it to Regina. Have you got like-minded people around you? Let me know if you like me to share some of my own experiences setting up transition groups and initiatives.

Welcome Maureen,

Great to see your interest in Transition! Welcome to GLOBAL TRANSITION IN ACTION. You mention in your registration "...I am a concerned citizen that keeps up-to-date on environmental and energy issues. I would like to start a Transition Group in Regina...."  Super!

Please join and click anytime on Transition group members in Canada to join your neighbors in discussions and events.  Click on any person's photo to say hello and find out more about their Transition interests. Reinforce the good things they are doing. Mention something that particularly interests you. Ask a question. Start a discussion. Let me know if you would like to be an Admin on this page to help build and maintain your group's portfolio. Have fun!

On the local scene, it would be spot on for all our members if you would consider including a link to Regina in our registry of organizations, localities, companies, products, services, Twitterers, Facebooks, Meetups, etc. supporting Transition and Sustainability. Here's the page to create the link. That way we can introduce our two groups to each other. Are you interested? I'll be glad to help launch and build your link.

Great photo.

Again, welcome!

Les
