How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
Created a blog named Peak Parenting. My blog will look at co-creating communities that contain families who are conscious of the current social, enviromental and economic changes.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
My interests have been in Peak oil; the Housing Crisis, the Energy Crisis and the Current Economic Collapse that is impacting the World Economy. I intend to educate my family and others families about living a more green lifestyle and adapting to the quick, ongoing changes that families face. Most importantly the Peak Parenting Blog will help educate people in how to prepare and access resources needed for this economic and social support. I would like to be active with Transitions,
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
To create a dialogue that will help parents and their children talk about the different choices each family is making as they navigate the increased costs of living. This will hopefully lead to an open discussion that will support the family unit. Increased communication will hopefully lead to a new way of life will continously unfold,

On the local scene, does Peak Parenting have a Transition-supporting website, or blog, or listserv, or Facebook, or Meetup? If so, it would be spot on for all our members if you would consider including a link in our registry of organizations, localities, companies, products, services, Twitterers, Facebooks, Meetups, etc. supporting Transition and Sustainability. Here's the page to create the link -- http://transitioninaction.com/groups/group/new. I'll be glad to help launch and build your link. Are you interested?
