- How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
- I have attended local meetings as a representative of RUPCO, an affordable housing non-profit and independent contractor for NYSERDA. Through Green Jobs-Green NY we are promoting home energy audits and energy efficiency retrofits.
- In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
- I have studied climate change issues for about 20 years and have been involved in environmental programming throughout my career. I like the model of doing what people like for change.
- How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
- I can bridge resources to the group from NYSERDA and RUPCO to help generate a large amount of interest in home energy upgrades. I'd like to help people save money and energy. I have also built a Green Certified home through NAHB at the gold level.

We look forward to sharing your experiences.Please join and click anytime on Transition group members in New York to join your neighbors in discussions and events. Click on any person's photo to say hello and find out more about their Transition interests. Reinforce the good things they are doing. Mention something that particularly interests you. On the local scene, it would be spot on for all our members if you would consider including a link to http://www.nyserda.org in our registry of organizations, localities, companies, products, services, Twitterers, Facebooks, Meetups, etc. supporting Transition and Sustainability. Here's the page to create the link. That way we can introduce our two groups to each other. I'll be glad to help launch and build your link.
