Welcome, I echo Judith's question. It has to be fun and a celebration to make the transition. What can we do in our area?

The purpose of playback is to make "ordinary lives seem extraordinary"

I've never heard of playback. I'm impressed. Could you do all of us the favor of starting a Discussion here on this site... Lay out the basic philosophies, provide a few links, and events so some of us could attend playback productions. Videos?

Hello Mimi!

I'm very intrigued by the idea of incorporating theatre into Transition work. I came across the idea of "playback theatre" over at the Presencing networking site and I thought you might like to see it, too. Do you have any ideas how to bring this into our communities? Just contact the local university theatre dept?

Welcome Mimi! Delighted to see you here, and working with Sarah. What do you mean by "community building theater" -- I'm curious.
