In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?

** I am looking for allies in Colorado who are interested in raising awareness of our urgent global situation, and devising ways to can re humanize our lives and survive even thrive in the post peak oil world in Colorado.
** Due to problems we've developed in EEE - Energy, Economy and Environment - we are in a quandary and must learn new skills to survive
** Marathon Effect - Levels of awareness vary greatly due to the "marathon effect.” Some are early adopters while others are last starters. Those with eyes wide open are studying our current global synergistic crises in EE&E and are the quickest to move through the change process, since they can visualize the personal and societal transformations needed before others even know the race for survival solutions has begun. For others it will take longer to make the transition: letting go of old ways, moving through the neutral zone, and, finally, making a new beginning
** Those who see humans' calamitous trajectory must serve as "canaries in the mines" to alert others, convene discussions, raise awareness, promote study, education, skill building, and action
** I see myself as somewhere is the middle of the marathon, learning from those ahead of me, and turning to assist others behind me.
** I am studying the issues and training myself to be a coach and assistant for others to learn how to transitions personally and in community.

How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?

** I am leading community discussions on EEE (Energy, Economics, Environment) to raise awareness.
** Studying together to figure out next steps... for individuals, communities, societies and the planet.
