- How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
- I participated of The Transition Towns Course in Rio de Janeiro/Brazil, at december of 2009, with May East. I am student of Gaia Education Rio/Brazil, 2009.
- In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
- I am teacher in a University in Brazil, I am a doctor, pos graduated (mester) in public health and work with poor comunities. I am developing a project to a poor urban comunity, in order to get more resiliente about the changes that are coming so fast to the planet. So, I understand that my town is a potential place to get the transition, because has a strong nature still preserved and many people working on it. But the works are desarticulated and I think the transition movement could help with a construction of a local net.
- How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
- Now I am working with my medicine's students, in the project of poor comunities more resilient and sustainable. In Brazil, there isn't a Medical School studying the enviromental problems and the relation with health. So I am beginin with this subject inside the graduation with the practice ocorring in the comunities. One of the projects I have already told here. I have been training many comunitie agents about the questions of enviroment , sustainability and resilience. I pretend expand the expirience to all the city.

- I love the nature since I was a child. I feel so much pain about the conditions of the planet and about the humanity with this unknowledge about themselves and the life. I work, since I was graduated at Medical School, trying to get the people back in time to feel your body and soul, in order to get more harmonious with life. Against the fast moviment that transform the people in robots, as servents of a minory.
