How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
I have just signed up with transition towns
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
Hi....
I have been developing a new concept for creating a caring economics and culture for building 'The IDEAL Community of the Future' - no poor and no crime among us.
The new concept is a bottom up approach for launching 'community-building' businesses. There are no qualifications - you belong if you want to belong. You have a right much like a human right to belong and participate.
The new enterprise model is designed for all citizens and organisations and involves powerful, proven development programmes to help maximise organisational growth and marketing effectiveness.
To help build a rock-like foundation for 'The IDEAL Community of the Future' we need to be an open enterprise so that low-income people and families can be involved too. With this in mind, I propose the following campaign theme:
"HELPING WINZ CLIENTS SUCCEED"
If you type those words into Work and Income New Zealand's website you'll get no results.
Latest number of working-age recipients of main benefits (AGED 18-64) in the Canterbury region at end Mar 2012 was 29356.
*Canterbury Region Service Centre Fact Sheet.
With just 10% of that sector alone you can see the potential for launching a new organisation.
Mission: To improve the economic well-being and quality-of-life of our members through Natural Enterprise in the Community and our new winning strategies.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
I haven't studied the purpose of the transition movement yet, however, I think we will all want to belong to 'The IDEAL Community of the Future' whether we live in a town, city or on a farm.
