Profile Information

How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
Just starting to become involved in the Battenkill Transition Communities in NY.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I am motivated by the proactive, hopeful approach of the Transition movement and am energized by it.

I am an organic farmer very interested in developing local foodshed resilience.

I am interested in drastically reducing the amount of waste we produce.

I am interested in co-creating and engaging in bike friendly communities.

I am interested in learning more about permaculture and resilient (beyond organic) agriculture.

I am a student of Holistic Management and am very excited about the possibilities this model of decision making can have on us as individuals, groups and communities.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
Skills I can share: canning, drying, lacto-fermentation of foods

seasonal cooking/eating

gardening

knitting and basic sewing

I am a native Spanish speaker and could serve as a liaison w/ other Spanish speaking Transition groups.

Although I am not trained to be a teacher of Holistic Management, I can share what I have learned and be part of a group interested in learning more and implementing that framework.
