Profile Information

How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
I am a Trainer for the 2-day Training for Transition and I am involved in the Stelle Transition Initiative in Stelle, Il. and the surrounding area.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I love how the Transition movement brings Permaculture principals to the community level! Additionally, the Heart and Soul Perspective gives support to healing at both the individual and community level. As our world as we know it "transitions", we will all go through tremendous change--most likely with a lot of joy and grief at the same time. The depth and quality of our relationships with our family, friends and neighbors will be the glue that helps us move through these changing times together.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
I am available to support others through sharing my experiences in community and offer the 2-day training. Our group has a long 30 year history in sustainable living -- little did we know that we'd be calling it Transition in 2009! We have community coops for meals, tools, gardens, and work exhange. Off the grid phone co. and wind generator for water plant. Come for a visit!

Yep, I did! I did some photoshopping on the photo and saw the guy has the same face as I do. Wonder how that happened.... :)

Hi again, Rebecca. It was great seeing you at the Sept 8th meeting here in Colorado. In the meantime, we've set up Transition Illinois. Come join the fun and creativity. "...I love how the Transition movement brings Permaculture principals to the community level!..." -- so do we!
