Profile Information

How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
not yet
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I believe that the way we have lived for the last 50 years is unsustainable and it is later than we think. We need to do something besides try and hold on to the past.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
We are starting a small farm.

Good luck with your farm! We'd love to hear your experiences. In fact, let me know if you'd like to start a special interest group just for farmers like yourself. Perhaps you could call it Farmers outstanding in their field. LOL

Yes Robin, I can guarantee The Way of Nature is "interesting" for sure. It can be challenging, intimidating, nurturing, disturbing, delightful, liberating and nourishing to choose just a few inadequate adjectives to describe how profound the experience is for the mind, body and spirit all at once! I'm still learning after nearly 20 years of participating as both a student and a guide. Great Nature continues to amaze! :) Bud

Welcome Robin! Great to see you here on Transition U.S. and Transition Texas. You highlighted in your profile that you are "... We are starting a small farm..." -- Let me know if you at some point would be interested in sharing with our members something of the process. I'll be glad to assist.
